Petrified Wood 2.5-inch Heart Crystal Mineral Specimen
Petrified Wood is a pseudomorph and not wood turned to stone and has a mineral composition of silica, calcite, pyrite, jasper, chalcedony and sometimes opal. It occurs over millions and millions of years as fossilized underground wood in contact with mineral rich water and volcanic ash becomes compressed as the minerals "take the place" of wood. The spaces in the wood fill with minerals over time and hardens.
This mineral is a transformational stone that can help one to feel grounded, protected and safe during transformation. It can help move blockages and push forward with change that has been diligently worked towards.
